THE ARTIST
Rory, a self taught artist first exhibited in 1985 and
has done so regularly ever since in a number of
different venues and galleries.
Working with different
mediums and varied styles, his work has been
incorporated and sold in Galleries and Exhibitions in
the UK, Malawi, South Africa, Zambia and more recently
culminating in a solo exhibition, at the Wren Gallery, Burford. England.
He continues to paint from his gallery at home in the
farming district of Mazabuka, interspersed with coaching
an active "art group" that meets weekly. As a qualified
Guide, Zoologist and avid Birder not surprisingly most
of his works are based on Wildlife and Landscapes with
particular interest in Birds.
Rory has travelled a lot, and as a result does not
exclusively paint African scenes, but tries to vary his
subject matter with a keen eye for the extraordinary.
